Library Progress (International) is a double-blind Peer Reviewed and Refereed journal devoted to the international dissemination of research in all branches of Library and Information Science. It publishes surveys and original research articles on specific areas  such as information technology, library education and training, human resource management in libraries, the changing role of the library, future developments  and new opportunities in information services, bibliographic databases, knowledge organization, electronic publishing, automation, digital libraries, information networks, metadata issues, resource description standards, collection development, and special collections, administration and management of library and information centers, archives,  digital preservation, etc. It provides a forum  to show case original research contributions, scientific surveys, case studies, book reviews and letters to the Editor. Library Progress (International) is issued half-yearly, i.e. June and December of every year. The Editors/Managing Editor/Editorial Board etc. assume no responsibility for the statements and opinions advanced by the contributors. Only contributor(s) is/ are responsible for his/her statements in his/her paper.  The editorial staff in its job of examining papers received for possible publication is assisted in an honorary capacity by a large number of distinguished scientists working in various parts of the world. Library Progress (International) is copy-righted publication. Articles published in the journal cannot not be reproduced without the written permission of the Managing editor.
